Religious scholar and prominent YouTuber, Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza, narrowly escaped yet another life-threatening incident, describing it as an assassination attempt.
According to local media reports, a security guard stationed at Mirza’s Research Academy successfully thwarted the assault on the outspoken commentator, who often found himself in disagreements with scholars from different schools of thought.
The assailant, identified as Ali Hassan and hailing from Gujrat, attempted to forcibly enter the premises of the Research Academy armed with a sharp weapon. Despite his efforts to overpower the guard, the combined response of the security personnel and academy members managed to subdue him.
During the interrogation of the attacker, Ali Hassan, unveiled his sinister intentions to assassinate the controversial scholar.
Law enforcement has since filed a formal case, and a comprehensive investigation is currently in progress to uncover further details surrounding the incident.
It is worth mentioning here that this is not the first time Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza has faced such danger. Back in 2017, he survived an initial assassination attempt, and another attack occurred in 2021 when an armed individual targeted Mirza while attempting to take a photograph with him. Mirza, a self-proclaimed Islamic scholar, emerged from the latter incident with minor injuries.
