In recent news, Aleem Khan made headlines for his purchase of a luxury SUV worth a staggering Rs172 million. A receipt issued by the Excise and Taxation Department revealed that the experienced politician paid a total of Rs9,110,656 in taxes for the vehicle. The SUV in question is a Range Rover, renowned for its advanced technology and off-road capabilities. The breakdown of taxes includes Rs62,500 for withholding tax, Rs3,000 for transfer fee, Rs6,907,480 for registration, Rs2,000 for number plate fee, over Rs500 for automated registration card fee, and Rs1.30 lac for the registration number price paid via epay.
Additionally, Aleem Khan was charged Rs10,000 for income tax, Rs1.70 lac for capital value tax, Rs4,375 for motor vehicles tax, and Rs525,000 for registration number fee. The total amount paid in taxes for the vehicle on June 20, 2023, amounted to Rs9,110,656.
