The provincial authorities have unveiled plans for artificial rain to tackle the severe smog crisis in Lahore. Caretaker Chief Minister Naqvi optimistically announced that if weather conditions permit, Lahore may witness artificial rain on November 29.
Information Minister Amir Mir clarified that the artificial rain project carries an estimated cost of Rs. 350 million.

A formal proposal seeking the approval of Mohsin Naqvi has been submitted by the Finance Secretary. Pending Naqvi’s endorsement, the provincial government plans to execute cloud seeding, with Chinese experts set to play a pivotal role.
