Renowned Hollywood actor Johnny Depp will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 Rome Film Festival. Alongside the award, Depp’s latest directorial film “Modi” will also be showcased at the festival.
The movie “Modi” tells the story of Bohemian artist Amedeo Modigliani and focuses on a crucial 72-hour period in his life amidst war-torn Paris in 1916. In the film, Modigliani is on the run from the police, contemplating leaving his career and fleeing the city, but faces obstacles due to a fellow artist. The film stars French actors Antonia Desplat and Riccardo Scamarcio.
The movie premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival and will have its next showing in Rome, where actor Viggo Mortensen will also be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The Rome Film Festival is scheduled to take place from October 16 to 27, 2024.
